We just returned from a fun trip to Kona, Hawaii that involved family, friends. Ironman, scuba diving, water slides and fun.  All in only one week!  We did two days of scuba diving, one of which is the signature dive for Kona, The Manta Night Dive.  A definite don't miss experience!  Here's the highlights:

If You're Looking for a Fun, Easy Dive on Bonaire. . .

The answer is Oil Slick Leap!  The entry and exit don't get any easier: a fun (and just a little scary!) giant stride into the water, and a ladder out of it.  Usually the current is mild and you can go north or south.  We did this dive three times on our recent two day trip!

Angel City Scuba Dive in Bonaire

One of the sites on southern Bonaire that contain one of the most unique features of the island: the double reef system.  The first reef is shallow after a swim over sand that increases the further south you go.  The second reef is deeper: 60+ feet.  At Angel CIty the second reef is a bit shallower than other sites: it starts at about 65 feet.  Very unique!
