Jim is an instrument technician by vocation and has been diving since 1979. He enjoyed diving as a certified diver on and off until he met his wife Erin in 1998 and they have been diving together ever since. In 2010, he became a divemaster with a local dive shop and after completing that course, decided to become a full PADI instructor, eventually becoming a Master Scuba Diver Trainer. Jim prefers to teach small classes so each student can benefit from one on one interaction while learning and become more confident divers. Jim loves diving anywhere, anytime, and in any conditions: cold or warm, clear or silty, calm or current. If it's diving, count him in! When not diving, he enjoys triathlon, scuba equipment repair, and spending quality time with family.
Erin Brockus PADI Master Diver
Erin is a pharmacist at a local clinic and became a certified diver in 1998 after meeting Jim. She loves the weightlessness and freedom of diving, as well as the unexpected nature of every dive-you never know what will show up! Diving has combined very well with her great passion for travel and adventure. She prefers warm, tropical water and if it also involves a beautiful island, so much the better! She is the de facto webmaster and content editor of the website and enjoys photography and video of their travel adventures. When not diving, she enjoys running, reading, photography and family time.
